KO Hei Tung, Kika

Kika KO is an artist born and raised in Hong Kong, who works and experiment on different mediums to create artworks that related to her own experiences which also extended to social and global topics.

Kika studied high school with IB diploma in Adelaide, Australia, which she stared to interest in focusing her future studies and career in art. As she passionate in travelling and to explore and understand different areas of art, she then studied films in Hong Kong Baptist University in 2019 before starting her Bachelor in Visual Arts, majoring in Studio and Media Arts in 2020 in Hong Kong Baptist University. In 2023, she had exchanged study in Chung-ang University in South Korea, studied under the area of craft and design.

After her exchanged study in South Korea, she then started to focus on making works in drawing and painting, trying to fused the ideation of uncertainty and unexpected features found from exploring ceramics pottery and glass blowing, into abstract and conceptual drawings and paintings.
